Charlotte Deaton

Founder & CEO

Charlotte Deaton, RN, CCM, CLNC, CRRN, founded D&D Case Management in 2006 on dedication to excellence and the desire to build a company that values the highest professional standards. Charlotte's passion for injury management and strong leadership allowed her to build company that achieves exceptional outcomes for workers and cost savings for clients.  In 2013, due to client requests, Charlotte added D&D Occupational Triage, which grew to 50 states. With the addition of Triage AfterCare in 2020, she launched the concept of  comprehensive injury management to better serve clients and injured workers.

Pamela Dearing

Director of Case Management

Pamela Dearing, RN, BSN, CCM has been employed by D & D Case Management since February of 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 1990. Pamela worked as an ER nurse for 9 years and was the charge nurse for 6. She has also taken courses in management. Pamela was the Regional Director of a successful Non-Profit company for almost 14 years before moving into Workers Compensation in 2008. She has served as the D & D Nursing Supervisor since 2015 and the Director of Case Management since 2017. Pamela was instrumental in updating our case management software, and works tirelessly to promote quality standards and outcomes.

Sarah Hood

Director of Occupational Triage

Sarah Hood, RN, BSN, CCM, has 20 years of nursing experience and has fulfilled roles working in cardiac care, ambulatory surgery, and nurse case management. Sarah began working for D&D Total Health serving as a Field Case Manager and Occupational Triage Nurse 9 years ago. For the last five years, Sarah has continued her passion for caring for clients and injured workers as the Director of Occupational Triage. She has been instrumental in the growth of the Triage program, from assisting with IT development to staff mentorship and client relations.

Amy McCorkle

Referral and Medical Liaison

Amy McCorkle, RN, CCM, CRRN, has an Associates Degree in Nursing and a Bachelors Degree in Health Arts. She has 40+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, is a Certified Case Manager and Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse. She worked in Workers Compensation Case Management, and Medical Case Management for BCBS, as a Rehab Liaison for a large hospital system, in Ortho-Neuro-Medical-Trauma  assessments and Head Nurse and Hospital Case Management. She has experience in coding and pre-certifications. Amy works as D&D's Medical Liaison, using her experience in Case Management and Insurance to process referrals to ensure that Case Management reports meet quality standards.
